After Revit it is ArchiCAD

Its been some time that I have been using Autodesk Revit for both Architectural & Interior Projects. It is no doubt a wonderful software. Then came SketchUp ; it changed the perception of design process into something so quick and easy that even Revit seems a bit outdated (only in user friendliness - not BIM). One of the major aspect of SketchUp is it let one work in 3D perspective; which traditional Architects are not quite used to but those once get used to it will hate to go back to AutoCAD or even Revit.

ArchiCAD on the other hand had been offering the same user friendliness from it inception. Hence when it caught my eye, I got inspired with it and started learning it. Only drawback, for some who prefer designing objects visually rather programming them, is GDL i.e. Geometric Description Language (Basic like programming language that is used to built it 3D Object Library).

So lets see how well I'll do in ArchiCAD. Will post my experiences in details later on.
